Many of these pictures are from a few months ago, but I decide to put them on the blog because it’s a good showcase of things we have done in the past few months (crazy things my kids do)
Brynn mastered the art of climbing…and does it ALL the time, which makes me crazy
and doing the laundry. Although to Brynn doing the laundry mostly involves throwing clean clothes on the floor while I fold. She is a pro at moving laundry from the washer to the dryer though.
At the Calallen game the night she danced at Half-time
Best sisters cooking in the kitchen
Reese the day the Aggies beat the pants off Alabama. Uncle Bill is a HUGE Bama fan so she has a cheerleading costume, which she wore during the game, along with her Aggie hat
Getting ready for her first Aggie game
Taylor Swift, I mean Reese singing and playing Christie’s guitar while we visited Alabama en route to Georgia
Driving home from Savannah…pooped girls
Brynn loves playing in her stroller In December we had to get our foundation repaired. It was a HUGE project. 17 holes were dug around our house so that concrete piers could be put underneath to level our house. Jackhammers went for 2 days breaking up concrete on our patio, driveway and garage. We could only exit the front door because the giant holes were outside all the other ones. The first picture was a shot of one giant hole. The one right above is the guy’s hand coming out of the hole under my house. He was about 5’11” or 6 feet tall and all you could see was his forearm coming out of the hole.
Our Elf on the Shelf Dopey colored Reese’s nose like Rudolph's…she was less than thrilled.
We played a prank on 3 of our neighbors right before Christmas. To get back at us, the 3 wives got together and t.p.’d the house. They were busted by my neighbor, whom they then convinced it was “ok” and finished leaving me the final product. All in good fun!A local Church held a live Nativity in our neighborhood right before Christmas. We headed out with our friends the Nuse Family for the night to see all the animals. Sarah was one of the Moms who t.p.’d the house. Here are Reese and their girls Lucy and Lola in front of the heifer. Our family
Brynn and Hank, the Nuse’s little boy. They are about 3 months apart and love playing together. Brynn gets so excited when I tell her we’re going to see Hank. They did this hand holding all on their own.
Vanessa, who teaches Stroller Strides on my days off, taught Reese how to catch butterflies. Here she is with one in her hand right as she let it go to fly again.
ColoringThurman was due for a check-up and I decided it would be a good idea to take him and the girls to the vet together. Bad idea..but cute pictureBrynn loves wearing purses around her neck. I tell her she looks like a little old German lady walking through an airport wearing purses like that. She was saying “mile” which is how she says smile when you take her picture
Reese got an XBOX game for Christmas called “Just Dance Disney”, where you dance along to all the best Disney songs. She loves it, and it provided lots of physical entertainment for the kids one afternoon.
As mentioned before she’s really good at moving laundry from the washer to the dryer. Apparently while I was in the restroom she moved herself in there too.
