Matching Wyoming sweatshirts, on a COLD night in front of the fire. The girls have been sporting the sweatshirts very often lately, as they are keeping them warm in the brisk weather we’ve been having.
For Thanksgiving we hit the road for a LONG few days of traveling. While we were in Geronimo we actually lucked out and ALL of the cousins were able to be in the same place at the same time. It’s not very often that happens anymore. We took the opportunity to take a picture of Oma Schubert with ALL her great grandbabies…and there are a LOT of girls!
Atlee and Reese are a mere 5 days apart in age. They get along so well. These 3 kiddos had so much fun together. So much fun that as parents we didn’t have to worry much about them, well until the water hose got turned on and some of these kids got wet.Homann boysIt wasn’t easy getting ALL these babies to look at the same timeErin the legit photographer…
I can’t wait to see everyone next week for Christmas, plus I know how much fun the kids will have together.
Our first trip to Santa. Brynn was nervous at first but warmed up. We are heading out to see Santa again this week and Brynn sounds much more excited to go this time. We’ll see.
For the past 5 years buying a Christmas tree has been much warmer than I would like. I think once we got to wear a long sleeve shirt. Not this year. It was COLD. I mean 40’s with a strong wind…I had to bundle these girls up. Think Randy “I can’t put my arms down” bundled up. It was fantastic. Another perk, our awesome neighbors came along to buy their tree as well. We threw them both in Ryan’s truck to bring them home. Brynn was so happy Mrs. Ferguson and Ms. Dean (as she calls Mr. Ferguson) got to come to town with us, and that we got to eat dinner with them too. Brynn is best buddies with “Ms. Dean”
Here are some pictures from my phone
Ryan made these for the girls before Thanksgiving. Pancakes that look like turkeys.
Our elf Dopey came back and upon his arrival brought reindeer donuts
We took family pictures and the girls had these adorable matching dresses for Christmas. My Mom got them and the girls looked so cute. I think this is the last year they will be able to wear matching clothes Bonus was how well Brynn did for the pictures…and smiled the whole time!
Our gingerbread house. My Mom found this gingerbread house that is a plastic mold. So I can just wash it off and have it for next year. AND we can use it for other holidays too! Brynn was busted a few days ago picking stale week old Dot off the gingerbread house. She ate it. It was the last thing she picked off the house.
Putting up Christmas lights in the COLD, and wearing her Bama hat from Uncle Bill. Our tree. It’s not professional but it was my first time messing with decco mesh…so I do have room for improvement.
