Better late than never!

I realize I am super behind in posting pictures of my children. I never seem to have much time to upload pictures onto the computer much less create a blog post. It should be obvious to me since I uploaded 331 pictures today! Here is a sample of what has been going on with us lately.

My sweet girls sleepingSince she was born she has insisted on sleeping with her head massed into a corner of some sort. We finally had to add a body pillow to her bed because at night we could hear her whack her head into the wall.Brynn turned 7 months in April. Since I took this picture she turned 8 months. She LOVES her puppy Thurman, and boy does Thurman LOVE Brynn (and Reese too)

Reese’s dance school had a day at the Hooks Game. So she’s somewhere in that mess (on the left). They danced on the field before the game.

As you can see they are starting to look a little different. Reese was about 7 months in this picture and Brynn was 8…

Best SissiesWe also had a night at the Hooks game with Stroller Strides. Here are the girls for that event.Bad weather finally killed our fence. It has been leaning for a few years and 80 mile an hour straight line winds put the nail in it’s coffin.Brynn’s first time at the beach. Mother’s Day 2012…and not a single shot of the mother with her children.

Easter and other fun!

Had to include this picture of my girls that I took before Stroller Strides one day. Reese has been going since she was 4 months old…Brynn loves class now too!

Mom turned 60 on April 8th, which also happened to be Easter. We planned a weekend away with the family and surprised her with the trip. She thought she was coming to Corpus for the weekend but instead we headed to New Braunfels to stay in an amazing house on the Guadalupe River. It was an awesome weekend. Uncle Bill and Christie were able to join us and Aunt Darlene and Uncle Tom even made a short visit to see us at the house for a few hours. It was so fun. I would go back in a heartbeat. The weather was amazing, we had a great dinner out on Saturday for her b-day dinner, we even celebrated Emmy’s 19th birthday on Friday too!

After leaving New Braunfels we found what was probably the last bluebonnet field in Seguin, and tried to snap some pictures. Neither of my kids were thrilled about having to pose, Reese was sick and Brynn wanted to take a nap. Possibly the worst combo you could ask for. But we got it done.
